The Visual Arts Society also held a raffle at the table at Governors Square where proceeds raised will go toward the art materials required for this competition and other children’s art competitions as well as the art supplies VAS donate to the GT Primary Afterschool Art Class.
Twenty-seven children entered the contest. The winning image will appear on T-shirts, which will be for sale. Prizes and a free breakfast were also to be awarded to the runners-up in all categories.
