Regular visitor to the Cayman Islands Woody Green achieved a personal milestone this week when he completed his 500th dive.
The special event took place on the wreck of the Doc Poulson on the west coast of Grand Cayman.
Mr. Green, who travels here for diving vacations with his trusted dive buddy Val Larson, considers the Cayman Islands as his top dive destination.
Diversity of life
Mr. Green is a PADI instructor who gained his rating a number of years ago in Grand Cayman. He has dived many of the world’s top dive sites, but feels that Cayman has the edge over all of the other places he has ventured to.
Mr. Green said he, “loved visiting these beautiful islands”.
“The diversity of fish life and the health of the corals keep me coming back for more,” he said. “I truly feel that Cayman is a magnificent diving destination and one that I hope I can enjoy for many years to come.
“I only hope I can get another 500 dives in.”
