The Family Fun Day, a Department of Children and Family Services event, that was postponed due to heavy rains in May, will take place Monday, 18 June.
Families are invited to enjoy a day out at Pedro Castle, with plenty of entertainment throughout the afternoon for the youngsters. Families are encouraged to take along a picnic and relax in the grounds, to the strain of Bona Fide’s children’s songs. The Cultural Foundation will also be putting a special story telling. There will be puppet shows, traditional games and ballet performances courtesy of the island’s youngest ballerinas. In addition to the entertainment, a number of businesses and organisations offering products and services that promote child development will be showcasing their wares to interested parents.
