Breezes run gains sixth sense

The Breeze Fusion walk/run comes around again soon and it promises to be bigger and better than ever before.

Organisers of the sixth annual Breeze Fusion 2-Mile Walk/Run are finalising another staging on Saturday 3 November.

This Radio Cayman and Breeze FM event promotes healthy family and community activities, while making a contribution to deserving
charities and community organisations.

Organised by Breeze FM and the Phoenix Athletic Club, part proceeds from the Breeze Fusion Walk/Run, will go to the National Council for Voluntary Organisations, as they have done since the first staging in 2007.

The NCVO is an independent, non-profit, charitable organisation, engaging in projects to meet the ever increasing needs of the community. The second beneficiary this year is Rotaract Blue Cayman Islands, a service club of young, aspiring, like-minded professionals, ‘Committed to Making a Positive Difference’.

The event route remains the same as in previous years, with a different start/finish location for the first time at Smith’s Cove.

Registration is $15 for adults, $10 for students under sixteen. So far, one pre-registration event is scheduled for Friday 2 November on the front lawn of the old GAB Building from 12noon to 4pm.

Late registration on the day of the event will be from 5.45am, with a 6.30am start for walkers and 7:00 for runners. Participants will receive an event T-shirt and gift bag.
