Is anger controlling your life? Do you find that you just can’t get past that hurt from so long ago? Ask yourself what is going on in your heart.
Is there somebody that you still need to forgive and this lack of forgiveness has literally stolen your heart, your joy and your peace? It is high time to stop letting it hold you back.
We need to understand that what they have done has nothing to do with your healing. It is done, dead and gone! You are still keeping it alive and if you still allow them to hurt you, it is still you giving them the power over you and ultimately you need to stop. If something is causing an upset in your life, it is not about them, it is about you and what you are allowing.
It doesn’t matter what they said or did to you or how your feelings were hurt. If you’re still talking about it then it’s about you. If you’re not living in joy and in peace in your heart, then you are doing that to yourself.
Anger is the one emotion that will destroy you. It will eat up your very being and steal your joy. The power over being angry or letting go is in your heart and you choose to hold on to it or not. Anger is about you not wanting to let go of whatever what was done to you. People that made you angry have moved on and are back to living their life, yet you stay seeped in the mess and madness and become paralysed by it. You are in charge of letting go. And what is so funny is that we are each created to live in abundant joy and if you are not doing that, then it is not about anyone else. So the question today is how are you going to heal your heart and get through this anger?
So instead of being angry, let go and celebrate the gift of life. Dance even when you don’t feel like it. When we are sad we should dance.
Author and motivational speaker Iyanla Vanzant says you “need to know the power of TADA in your heart.” She says that what TADA means is “Oh, so you thought I was going to fail? You thought I wasn’t going to make it? Well, TADA! You thought you were going to hold me down? Well … TADA. I’m here and I am fine.”
How powerful is that? We all have it so go and find your power of TADA. And dance every day, through everything and thank God for giving you life, peace, joy and the hope and strength of TADA. And tell me how your week is going at [email protected]
