Roma back Breeze run

The Breeze Fusion walk/run is on this weekend and it promises to be bigger and better than ever.

Organisers of the sixth annual Breeze Fusion 2-Mile Walk/Run are excited about staging it this Saturday.

This Radio Cayman and Breeze FM event promotes healthy family and community activities, while making a contribution to deserving
charities and community organisations.

Organised by Breeze FM and the Phoenix Athletic Club, part proceeds from the Breeze Fusion Walk/Run will go to the National Council for Voluntary Organisations, as they have done since the first staging in 2007.

The NCVO is an independent, non-profit, charitable organisation, engaging in projects to meet the ever increasing needs of the community.

The other beneficiary is Rotaract Blue Cayman Islands, a service club of young, aspiring, like-minded professionals, ‘Committed to Making a Positive Difference’.

The event route remains the same as in previous years, with a different start/finish location for the first time at Smith’s Cove.

Registration is $15 for adults, $10 for students under sixteen. There is a pre-registration event on Friday 2 November on the front lawn of the old GAB Building from 12 noon to 4pm.

Late registration on the day of the event will be from 5.45am, with a 6.30am start for walkers and 7am for runners. Participants will receive an event T-shirt and gift bag.

Roma United Sports Club, Radio Cayman and Breeze FM continue their partnership in support of the Breeze Fusion Walk-Run.
