Triple C walk a success

On Saturday, 3 November, Triple C students, teachers, alumni, parents and many others were greeted with a beautiful, cool and breezy day for the 11th Annual Triple C “Fun in the Sun” 5K Walk/Run.

As walkers and runners made their stride to raise money to aid the school’s ongoing capital improvements, you could feel in the air a spirit of community from everyone who came out to support this great cause.

Principal Mable Richardson shared, “We are very grateful for everyone that came out to walk or run and we want to say a special thank you to all our corporate and prize sponsors. Without community support this event would not be what it is today. This is our 11th annual walk and we aim to make next year’s event even better.”

Nathania Mayers, development and human resources assistant and event organiser, said, “We would like to thank all of our sponsors for their donation for our prize drawing and our student sponsorship prizes. Without the support and assistance from the community, this event would not have been successful.”
