On Friday, 23 November, head to the North Sound Golf Club for the MOpen Golf Championship, 2012.
This is a first for MOvember, in conjunction with Cayman Islands Cancer Society.
The Tournament will be a four-ball scramble format with shotgun starts at 8am and 1pm with the usual putting competition, closest to the pin, longest drive and hole-in-one competitions. More than $4,000 in prizes will be awarded.
These include an electric car from Cayman Automotive for a hole-in-one.
There’s Budweiser specials all day long and food is available all day. This is even, free of charge, to all participants – expect burgers of the cheese or chicken variety, sausage or bacon buns, hot dogs, borewors rolls and more from Boss Hogg’s. All of course definitely championship foods, especially if you happen to be John Daly.
The following day at the Rugby Club there’s what’s billed as the Corporate Mo-Social Mixed Touch Rugby Tournament.
It’s a six a side deal, costing $1,000 per team and with a handicap system plus Mo Joker cards. Consumption bonus points are included and all teams get a case of Heineken and two of water. Fourteen players a team only and prizes for the best rugby moustache.
