Cayman’s most delicious and traditional dish is arguably fish tea.
That’s why the search is on for the best chef of this awesome foodstuff.
There’s $2,000 in cash prizes for the overall winners; the winners of each preliminary round can get $150 and a case of beer. Each prelim winner is eligible to represent the Flowers Bottled Water Fish Tea Cook Off at the All Things Caymanian section of Taste of Cayman early next year. The big event is the finals, held at the East End Surf Challenge 2013.
Bodden Town’s Grapetree Cafe is the venue for the latest regional heat on Saturday, 1 December. Further cook offs take place at North Side on Saturday, 8 December, and in the Pirates Cove Bar in East End on Saturday, 15 December.
