Caymanian musician making waves

Musician Stuart Wilson has returned to the Cayman Islands on the heels of a promotional tour to Jamaica for a series of television shows and radio and media interviews.

The artist has been making major strides on the international music scene and having a streak of success with the release of his most recent single “Three Kings”. The song is the artist’s follow up to his last single and video, “So In Love With You”, which can be seen on Tempo Television, Hype TV or World Reggae Music Television on CaribVision.

After an industrious year-and-a-half that also saw Stuart release the hit single “Rule the World” to flattering reviews and open for top-notch artists such as John Legend, the musician’s dizzying rise continues. It should be noted that Stuart has managed to achieve most of his musical accomplishments on his own dime, financing every aspect of his career including travel, production and promotion.

“I spend much of my time and effort doing what I feel is my dutiful service to mankind and indeed the life I’ve been privileged to be blessed with,” he says. “People are the Earth’s longing for itself and as such we have the ability to tune into the ether’s content and transmissions and then translate those vibrations to melodies and lyrics. It is an innately spiritual exercise.”

He added that, in his view, being a channel for the supernatural was the greatest calling anyone could ever have.

“Music and the act of creating it is a form of worship,” he quipped.

During Wilson’s eight-day promotional tour to Jamaica he performed on Hype TV, the Smile Jamaica Morning Show and on CVM. Additionally, the artist participated in interviews on radio station RJR and with the Jamaica Gleaner newspaper. A 3 December article on the musician’s visit to Jamaica can be found at

Stuart says he is in the process of recording more music, as well as video production and fielding various opportunities for shows and concert requests.
