Lindsay Fiduciary fry Popeye’s

Lindsay Fiduciary Services had a landmark victory in AAA Little League baseball.

Lindsay would beat Popeye’s, 14-2, at the Field of Dreams. Lindsay is on the upswing again in their roller coaster season, winning the fourth game after a loss-win-loss early season performance. Left-handed starting pitcher Ryan van der Bol was dealing, recording several strikeouts through four innings.

Van der Bol mystified Popeye’s batters with his devastating cut fastball, which started on the outside of the plate and ran in on right-handed hitters. On the few occasions that Popeye’s batters made contact, his fielders were on their toes behind him.

Marquis Manahan patrolled centre field with authority and made a great catch at the fence. Rookie second baseman Joshua Whittaker had a stellar night with assists in two put outs at first and a catch of an infield fly ball.

The young financiers improved their record to 2-2 and are now set to enjoy a long break before their next game on 9 April after the Easter break.
