Territory flags ‘Trooped’ in UK

Residents of London may have noticed that the flags of all OTs are now flying in Parliament Square in observance of the Diamond Jubilee.

This observance is to mark Trooping the Colour and the events leading up to it – Tuesday, 4 June, marked the 60th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II’s coronation.

This is part of the agreement with the UK’s Department of Culture, Media and Sport that all flags representing all OTs will be flown there to mark State occasions.

The flags will be up until at least the end of next week.
