An open house to allow business professionals and public servants to learn about new programs at the Professional Development Center of the University College of the Cayman Islands has been scheduled for Oct. 10.
J.D. Mosley-Matchett, UCCI’s director of graduate studies and professional development, said, the graduate and professional development program has been revamped to meet international standards.
She added that the new Executive Certificate in Global Leadership features visiting lecturers from the U.S. and Canada, and the two new master’s programs in business and public administration from the internationally recognized Commonwealth of Learning curricula.
“UCCI is preparing its adult learners for success in the global workplace,” she said. “Guaranteed continuous employment is a thing of the past. To remain valuable at work, managers must constantly hone their skills and expand their thinking.”
The open house will be from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the college campus. Classes begin on Oct. 25. Registration closes on Oct. 18.
