The Cayman Islands Athletic Association launches its 2013/14 track season with the staging of the Damion Rose Sprint & Distance Track Meet this weekend.
It is at the Truman Bodden Sports Complex on Saturday, Dec. 7 from 9 a.m.

The association is asking all athletes, their parents and well-wishers to participate and to pay tribute to Rose.
Events being contested are javelin, long jump, discus, 3,000 meters, 150m, 1000m, 600m, 1500m and 300m.
