Lightning will strike 10 times

Peter “Lightning” Lewison is intent on being far busier next year and even hopes to fight as many as 10 times in Grand Cayman.

The unbeaten light-heavyweight prospect won his sixth fight on points against Mike Sawyer two months ago but had to labour for the win.

The 25-year-old Caymanian admits that helping promote the show topped by Charles “Killa” Whittaker distracted him from training and that was one reason why he lacked stamina against the veteran American.

“I have a master plan to fight here more regularly next year,” Lewison said. “My next fight will probably be in March, beside Beaches sports bar or at the King’s Sports Centre.”
