There’s been a Christmas windfall for some lucky winners of the St. Ignatius draw this year.
The top three cash prize winners were Sheena Conolly, who won CI$25,000; Natasha Wight who won CI$2,500 and Philip Stewart who won US$2,500.
To find out if you were the winner of any of the other many prizes, check www.st-ignatius.com for the full list.
Winners can collect their prizes from the St. Ignatius Church Office during weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Winners are asked to bring their winning ticket and photo ID. All prizes must be claimed by Jan. 31, 2014.
The draw took place at the annual St. Ignatius candlelight carol service and Christmas fundraiser on Dec. 18 at the school courtyard.
The carol service is St. Ignatius’s main annual fundraiser. Net proceeds benefit both the church and the school. The church invest funds towards facilities improvements in Grand Cayman and Cayman Brac, while the school plans to use the proceeds towards the facilities development fund. A portion of the proceeds will go to the scholarship fund, which provides tuition assistance for families who are unable to afford full school fees. A donation will also be made to a local charity.
