Deloitte helps out at Christmas

Staff and partners of Deloitte, for the seventh year, supported the annual Christmas Drive for Children in cooperation with the Cayman Islands Department of Children and Family Services.

The drive, led by Carrie Brown, a director with Deloitte, is funded by personal donations from the firm’s staff and partners.

The gifts were chosen according to a wish list received from children ages 1-16. Along with toys, gift cards, clothes and books, the team also purchased eight new bicycles with safety helmets.

Deborah Webb-Sibblies, strategic and programing deputy director of the Department of Children and Family Service, said, “We are reminded during the Christmas season to share our love in kind with the most vulnerable persons in our society, our children. We really appreciate the yearly efforts made by Deloitte to help us accommodate those children and families.”
