A new branch of the Cayman Islands National Insurance Company will open in Cayman Brac on June 17 to help improve communications with the company’s 800 clients who live on the island, CEO Lonny Tibbetts said.
“Prior to this, CINICO utilized the services of three separate agencies to perform our administrative functions on Cayman Brac,” he said. “As we currently cover over 800 persons on the Brac as well as coordinate, on average, 100 medical referrals to Grand Cayman per month, we felt that having an office on Cayman Brac was both a strategic and logical solution.”
Mr. Tibbetts said the opening of the new branch is “essential and monumental at this time” as it coincides with the company celebrating 10 years of operation.
The Cayman Brac office will open for business on June 17, and a grand opening and awards ceremony will be held on June 20, from 5 to 7 p.m.
Free health screenings will also be offered for Cayman Brac CINICO members on the day of the ceremony, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Office hours of the Brac branch will be Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
