Cayman’s Restaurant Month, under way through Oct. 31, offers the opportunity to dine out for less.
The event is sponsored by the Cayman Islands Tourism Association, and CITA restaurant directors and restaurant managers Julie Allan and Steve Shienfield worked closely with CITA to expand and improve the event.
During the month, 20 restaurants offer a choice of set-price menus for lunch and dinner. Two- or three-course lunch menus will be $10, $15 or $20; three-course dinners will be $25, $35 or $45.
Participating restaurants are: Abacus, Agua, Casanova, Catch, Craft, Cimboco, Deckers, Duke’s, Gino’s Pizzeria, Grand Old House, Guy Harvey’s, Icoa, Island Naturals Cafe, Lobster Pot, Lone Star Bar and Grill, Ortanique, Mizu, Rackam’s, The Bistro, and Waterfront Urban Diner.
“I’m really excited that we have doubled the number of participating restaurants this year for Restaurant Month,” CITA restaurant director and manager of Rackam’s, Ms. Allan, said in a press release. “It gives the local population and visitors an eclectic variety of restaurants to experience at a greatly reduced price. It also offers an opportunity for local eateries to entice new business with signature dishes.”
During the month, $25 gift certificates for participating restaurants are up for grabs to those who “like” the Cayman Culinary and Cayman Good Taste Facebook pages, and more chances will be available to those listening to Vibe 98.9 FM and Spin 94.9 FM.
