Harneys delivers on toy drive

“Angels” donate Christmas gifts to foster home

Staff at Harneys Cayman Islands have been taking part in the “Harneys Angels project” this holiday season by buying gifts for children at the Nadine Andreas Residential Foster Home.

Ghita Benlarbi, Harneys Angels team leader, said, “It’s easy to get caught up in gift giving to those around you. It is important to share the spirit of giving with the broader community, including the kids at the foster home.”

Staff were invited to pick an ornament from the Christmas tree at Harneys, with each ornament representing a child. It contained the child’s age and his or her desired gift.

The company donated 24 presents.

Nasaria Chollette, care manager at the Nadine Andreas Foster Home, said “We are so grateful to Harneys for the generosity they have shown. The holidays are the perfect time for giving to those in need. We require assistance all year long and any help we get from the local community is always greatly appreciated.”
