Stingray Swim Club started a new masters swim program this week at the Lions Aquatic Centre.
The program takes place on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from noon to 1 p.m. and is coached by Stingray Swim Club’s coaches.
Coach David Pursley said that after a number of inquiries about the swim club’s masters program, the club started a three-month trial program for all levels of swimmers ages 18 and over “who want to take part in structured workouts, receive technical feedback and generally improve their swimming.”
“Masters swimming is a great way to stay fit and to socialize at the same time. If taking part in any of CIASA’s Open Water Swims, completing the Flowers Mile or taking part in a triathlon are on your list of New Year’s resolutions, then our swim program will make sure you achieve them,” Pursley said.
