Three weeks in to the Baker Tilly Corporate League, the teams show no sign of slowing down.
Sotheby’s put on a strong performance and were able to claim a solid 12 points against MUFG. However, the match of the night went to Jason Perras of MUFG against Kali MacLean of Sotheby’s.
The pair traded games until it came down to the deciding fifth set. MacLean appeared to be fresher going into the final game, but Perras managed to muster the energy when it was needed, winning the game 11-8 and the match 3-2.
Baker Tilly came up against a tough Walkers team and lost 12-5. This puts Walkers at the top of the tables for the first time in this league with 31 points.
The final match of the night was DMS against Conyers. Conyers found their form, winning 10-3 and going ahead of DMS by one point in the table. Conyers are now in second place with 26 points; DMS are third with 25.
