Ariane Dart hosted her private annual tea party Friday afternoon. Funds raised from the event are donated to the National Gallery.

Gallery Director Natalie Urquhart said about $36,000 was raised from the event last year and Friday’s party likely at least matched that amount.
“This is achievable thanks to our host Ariane Dart, who underwrites the event, enabling all funds raised to go directly to the National Gallery of the Cayman Islands education, and of course [thanks] to our generous guests,” Ms. Urquhart said. “We believe everyone should have access to free art education and cultural experiences.”
Funds raised will help support the gallery’s All Access project, the Sunrise Art Club (for the Sunrise Adult Learning Centre), weekly Family Art Fun hosted by the gallery and a series of “pop up” art sessions across the districts.

Good to see a public face to the very private and illusive “Dart”. Any relation to Ken Dart, the supposed owner of the Dart group of companies??
