Junior Achievement of the Cayman Islands invites companies to participate in the 2016 JA Corporate Quiz Championship and fundraiser.
The event kicks off on April 27, with the first preliminary round at the Hard Rock Cafe.
“Our Junior Achievement programs in Cayman reaches several hundred young lives annually through our various programs,” said Naude Dreyer, president of Junior Achievement, “but this is only possible with the help of our many volunteers, and especially the advisors in our signature Company Program.”
Ms. Dreyer said the corporate quiz has been an opportunity for Junior Achievement supporters to interact and get to know one another to “ultimately strengthen [the] commitment and inspiration for helping [the] youth.”
“Our Junior Achievement programs have been around for nearly 100 years and in Cayman for 25 years,” she said. “We could not have done it without our volunteers. The event is a fundraiser, but moreover, it is a celebration of volunteerism.”
Three preliminary rounds will lead up to the final on June 1.
Teams of four are encouraged to register. For the series, the entry fee for a team is $400; for individual events it is $150. Sign in starts at 6:30 p.m. for the first round. To register and for more information, contact [email protected] or call Naude Dreyer at 925-6422.
