The Cayman Islands Small Business Association and the Ministry of Commerce will host a Small Business Expo on May 28 at the University College of the Cayman Islands.
“The Ministry is happy that CISBA volunteered to lead the organizing efforts for the expo,” said the ministry’s deputy chief officer, Tamara Ebanks.
The expo will feature workshops on topics such as the new Trade and Business Licensing Law, the new Minimum Wage Law, and using social media. There will also be a cocktail reception for networking opportunities.
CISBA President Dawn McLean-Sawney said the idea behind the expo, now in its fourth year, is to increase the awareness of small and micro businesses; provide an opportunity for small business owners to network; and educate and motivate participants in the numerous workshops.
