New chapter in rugby starts Saturday

In Cayman rugby’s book of stories, a new chapter starts at 6 p.m. Saturday at Truman Bodden Stadium when the Cayman Islands face off against the Bahamas.

The RHSW Cayman XV has been attending sessions for 20 weeks in preparation for what is being billed as The Security Centre Cayman Big Game.

They have played six warm-up games and won them all.

Phil Fourie; 19. Paul Westin; 20. Mat Dors; 21. Josh Brown; 22. Justin Wight; 23. Abdul Patterson; 24. Ed Westin; and 25. Mark Westin.

Gates open at 3 p.m. Tickets are $15 for adults and $7 for children under 12, if bought in advance; all tickets $25 at the gate. Big Sun band will perform at 7:40 p.m., followed by DJ Action Jackson at 8:40 p.m. The event ends at 11 p.m. For ticket information, visit
