Cayman Islands’ Special Olympic athletes were celebrating this week after being handed the keys to a new van.

The van, a gift from Aon Insurance Managers (Cayman) with the support of the Cayman Islands government and Vampt Motors, will transport athletes to and from training and competitions.

Eight-year-old Jake Fagan, who last month donated his birthday money to Special Olympics Cayman Islands, was invited to hand over the keys at a brief ceremony on Wednesday.

“Everyone deserves to play sports,” he said.
