The flag football lineup on April 7 at the Ed Bush play field began with Seafire (0) vs. Popeyes (26), and Deloitte (13) vs. Burger Shack (21). The next games featured Dart (21) vs. Cayman Auto (20) and CNB (12) vs. Walkers (13). The night ended with Bogle Insurance (25) vs. Go Flag Yourself (13) and Burger King (19) vs. NCB Islanders (13).
The highlighted games of the night were Cayman National Banks vs. Walkers and Dart vs. Cayman Auto as both games were very intense, organizers said in a press release.
The Cayman Islands Flag Football Association, in its press release, highlighted “the great efforts made by the two newest teams of the league: Deloitte (with one win) and Seafire (no wins),” noting that the teams “have continuously surprised [other] teams with how much they have improved throughout the season.”
All teams have a bye week this weekend because of the Easter holiday. The next games are on Friday, April 21, at 6:30 p.m., featuring the first match-up between Uncle Clems Packers vs. Burger Shack, both of whom are undefeated.
CIFFA recognized Simalee Ebanks (Bogle Insurance) and Brad Conolly (Walkers) for winning Female and Male Player of the week.
