Power to a section of West Bay was out Monday afternoon after a white Honda Civic traveling along Northwest Point Road smashed into a wall and a power pole.
The pole snapped in half and a light pole also collapsed.
The female driver of the car was injured in the crash, which happened outside Oceanside Plantation around 5:10 p.m. in torrential rain.
The driver was taken from the vehicle by fire officers.
