The finalists in this year’s Business Excellence Awards have been named and the winners will be announced at a gala awards ceremony at The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman on Oct. 27.
This awards program, a Chamber of Commerce initiative, recognizes the endeavors of member firms but the nominees also include government statutory authorities.
For the second year, the achievements of business operators will be celebrated for best practices and corporate citizenship.
The 2018 finalists, in six categories, are: Business of the Year (Grand Cayman Marriott Beach Resort and Water Authority-Cayman); Commitment to Education (Dart and Health City Cayman Islands); Community Impact Award (The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman and Yello Media Group); Entrepreneur of the Year (Cayman Water, Fuse-In Designs and Island Naturals Café); Marketing Campaign of the Year (Rocky’s Diamond Gallery and Vagabond Media Group Ltd.); and Small Business of the Year (eShore Ltd. and Kelly Holding).
At the ceremony, Keith Parker Tibbetts Jr. will be honored as recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award in Business for 2018.
