Alternative asset and corporate services provider SANNE is adding a presence in Mumbai, India, one of the fastest-growing alternative markets, to its existing offices in 18 international finance centres.

The firm also announced the appointment of Khushboo Chopra as head of Business Development for India.

Mark Law, chief commercial officer at SANNE said established operations in Mauritius, Singapore and globally will provide the business with further opportunities to add value to existing and new clients in the region. Law said SANNE recognises the tremendous potential in the Indian alternative assets industry.

“We have been providing high quality alternative and corporate services to clients in India for more than 25 years, so this next phase of evolution in the region is exciting.”

Earlier this month Varounen Goinden joined SANNE as director and head of Business Development for Mauritius and India.

SANNE’s Mumbai office will initially focus on servicing existing clients in the region while expanding the visibility of the brand and SANNE’s global offering in the region.
