Dentons has appointed Jonathan Bernstein and Ben Booker as partners in its Cayman Islands office. Both attorneys have over 15 years of legal experience respectively, with more than 10 years in the Cayman Islands.
Bernstein has a broad private funds practice focussed on advising fund sponsors on the structuring and ongoing operation of funds, co-investment vehicles, unit trusts and segregated portfolio companies. He also advises institutional, strategic and seed investors in connection with their investments into funds. Bernstein will be the head of funds for Dentons Cayman.
Booker advises clients on corporate, fund and trust structuring, together with related governance, regulatory and transactional matters. He previously served as the managing director of a trust company in the Cayman Islands where he worked with a wide range of multinational firms, funds, institutional, private client and family offices. He is now the head of corporate and trusts for Dentons Cayman.
Other notable additions to the firm include Brian Patterson as senior corporate counsel and Sylvester Dube, a corporate/funds associate.
