The Cayman Islands Breast Cancer Screening Programme is sponsored by The Lions Club of Tropical Gardens, in partnership with CI Health Services Authority, CTMH Doctors Hospital, MedLab Inc and OceanMed.
Make your appointment before Friday, November 26, 2021 and identify that you have a Lions Club of Tropical Gardens Voucher.
- Take the voucher with you on the day of your appointment.
- Take any previous mammograms with you to your appointment.
- Pre-menopausal clients: schedule your appointment between days 10 – 20 of your menstrual cycle. Wear a two-piece garment with a top that removes easily.
- DO NOT use any deodorant, powder, lotions or other preparations on your skin on the day of your appointment.
- Request an appointment when compression of the breast will cause least discomfort.
- Tell the Radiographer if you are experiencing pain.
- Mammogram and follow-up procedures must be carried out at the same location with the exception of MedLab who will refer to either HSA or CTMH Doctors Hospital
- Reports will be sent to your named doctor within 3 weeks, please consult your doctor.
