In the approximately 18 months since Cayman closed its borders to cruise and commercial air traffic, the culinary and bar scene has shifted. Some restaurants and bars — including a few tourist hotspots along West Bay Road — have closed due to plummeting business or for other reasons, while some new eateries have popped up despite the challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic.
