Camana Bay Cinema continues to bring the best of the British theatre to the big screen, and this month, viewers are treated to a screening of David Hare’s ‘Skylight’.
Bill Nighy (‘Love Actually’, ‘The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel’) and Carey Mulligan (‘Promising Young Woman’, ‘An Education’) star in the critically acclaimed production, directed by Stephen Daldry (NT Live: ‘The Audience’). There is one showing only on 20 Nov. at 8pm.
Plot
On a bitterly cold London evening, schoolteacher Kyra Hollis (Mulligan) receives an unexpected visit from her former lover, Tom Sergeant (Nighy), a successful and charismatic restaurateur whose wife has recently died. As the evening progresses, the two attempt to rekindle their once passionate relationship only to find themselves locked in a dangerous battle of opposing ideologies and mutual desires.

“Five stars – Bill Nighy and Carey Mulligan are superb.” — Evening Standard

“You can’t take your eyes off Nighy.” — The Telegraph
