Meckin’ Down (mehk-in dawng) Verb — 1. Approaching. 2. Of the relative near future. 3. The event of one object coming closer to another. 4. The temporal property of becoming nearer in time. 5. The act of drawing spatially closer to something. E.g. “Boy, try so hurry n’ nail up dah plywood on dem windows. You cyah see bad wedda meckin’ down now ah wah?”
