Months of training, numerous public appearances, and a long flight from Cayman to Israel, have all been leading up to the main event for Miss Cayman Islands Universe Georgina Kerford.
On Sunday, 12 Dec., she will be representing her country at the Miss Universe pageant, being held in Eilat, Israel at Universe Dome. Steve Harvey returns as emcee for the evening, and at the end of the night, Andrea Meza of Mexico (Miss Universe 2020) will crown her successor.
This is the 70th Miss Universe pageant and there will be 80 ladies vying for the title.
Preliminary swimwear and evening gown competitions have already been held, along with the National Costume parade. Kerford’s costume was a stunning piece based on the banana orchid, Cayman’s national flower. It was designed by Danielle Watler.
Her evening gown was pale purple, sparkling from head to toe with a sheer train.
