CUC annual sea swim set for 15 Jan.
Swimmers are gearing up for the 33rd annual CUC Sea Swim scheduled to take place Saturday, 15 Jan. The event will begin at 4pm, along Governors Beach following registration from 3-3:45 pm.
CIFA set to kickoff with Charity Shield
The Cayman Islands Football Association 2021-22 season is set to kick off on Sunday, 9 Jan.
Elite SC are scheduled to face Sunset FC in the Women’s Charity Shield at 5pm, followed by the men’s game featuring Scholars ISC vs. Bodden Town FC at 7pm. Both games will be played at Truman Bodden. Entrance is $5.00 and tickets are available at the venue.

Jamaican swimming icon retires
Alia Atkinson has announced her retirement from the sport of swimming, after competing for 20 years.
Atkinson, 33, final race came at the 15th FINA World Swimming Championships (25m), in Abu Dhabi.
Previously she competed at five consecutive Olympics from 2004-21 and became the first black woman to win a world title following her gold medal at the 2014 World Short-Course Championships.
