2022 BK Big Fish tournament set for weekend
Anglers will hit the waters this weekend, 1-3 April, for the fifth annual BK Big Fish tournament, with the chance of winning over $50,000 in cash and prizes.

Second annual Edsell Haylock darts tournament
Organisers from the Cayman Islands Darts Association confirmed that after several postponements due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the second annual Edsell Haylock Memorial Darts Tournament is set for Sunday, 10 April.
The event will take place at the All Stars Sport Bar and Grill, beginning at 2pm, and will feature a men’s single division, women’s single division and doubles.
Caymanians to square off in foils demonstration
Fencing fans will be treated to a free bout between Caymanians Ben Ebanks Jr. and Sadie Solomon at Kings Sports Centre on Saturday, 9 April.
The Cayman Islands Fencing Federation is hoping to use the event to bring awareness to the Olympic sport which is not currently offered in the Cayman Islands.
“The CIFF is trying to launch the Cayman Fencing Academy in order to bring the sport to the youth (and adults) of Grand Cayman,” CIFF stated in a press release. “Representatives of the CIFF will also be at the demonstration to discuss plans for launching the academy.”

The Cayman Islands women’s national team will continue their quest for a spot in the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup this Wednesday, 6 April, when they face off against Grenada in their third match of the women’s World Cup qualifiers.
The group C match will kick off at the Kirani James Athletics Stadium in Grenada, starting at 4pm local time.
