Jasmine Presents the 2022 Caribbean Palliative Care Conference: Caring for the Whole Person in Uncertain Times

Jasmine is hosting the 2022 Caribbean Palliative Care Conference on October 7th & 8th at The Westin Grand Cayman Seven Mile Beach Resort & Spa.

This conference is free and open to the public, and hopes to prompt meaningful discussions
around the all-encompassing aspects of palliative care and how those living with chronic or end-of life illnesses can benefit by adding palliative care to any treatment plan.

While Friday’s discussions will be predominantly aimed at those in the medical profession, Saturday’s presentations are geared toward the general public. Saturday’s schedule includes free health checks from 8 AM, opening remarks from the Honourable Minister of Health & Wellness, Sabrina Turner, and a panel discussion with local wellness providers from Cayman Massage, Cayman Physio, HSA, and Hope’s Dwelling.

This conference marks the beginning of a larger community education campaign on the benefits of palliative care for a variety of ailments and features a presentation from Jasmine’s new Palliative Care physician, Dr. Natalie Sharpe.
