The Kiwanis Club of Grand Cayman installed a new Board and Officers at its annual installation lunch in October of 2022.
Donna Scott was elected as the club’s new President, taking over from Jessica Kozaily.
Other officers installed were: President Elect Christopher Mason, Vice President Ibimitomi “Asher” Ogbe, Secretary Linda Key, Assistant Secretary Opal Henry, Treasurer Cavell Goulbourne, Assistant Treasurer Lorna Nutter and Directors Ruud van der Pluijm, Ayu Purbasanti, Anna Russell-Knee and Dr. Tanikya Grant-Davis.
Kiwanis Member Mrs. Shilpa Gampawar was awarded Kiwanian of the Year award; Board member Dr. Tanikya Grant-Davis was awarded Rookie of the year.
The club is proud to have accomplished little over Twenty projects in the past year, all projects targeting kids in our community. “This would have not been possible without the great support of our sponsors and the dedicated members and volunteers”, said Immediate Past President Jessica Kozaily.
“As the New Year unfolds, our main focus would be to join forces with NCVO Children Services Programmes and the Foster care kids as well as the Crisis Center to help our motto “changing the world one child and one community at a time”, said President Donna Scott in a press release.
