Cayman’s Alicia Proud competed at the NGA Florida State Natural Championships held 3-4 June, in Altamonte Springs, for what was her first bodybuilding competition.
Proud took fifth overall in the Novice Bikini category. She noted to the Compass that the nerve-racking event was a bucket list accomplishment but now she said she has an enhanced desire to compete again and is aiming for better results.
Proud is hoping to compete again this year. She hinted at the Drug Free Athletes Coalition event that is being held this November at the Arts and Recreation Centre in Camana Bay.
