I was most interested in your ‘50 years ago’ story regarding the parcel that arrived very late.
For your interest, I mailed a letter from Cayman Brac to Grand Cayman and it arrived after 49 days! It was mailed August 3, 2023 and arrived September 21, 2023.
It was an important letter, sent to a business in Grand Cayman. About two weeks after I mailed it, I flew to Grand Cayman to hand-deliver a copy of this important mail.
