A 24-year-old man was killed in a single vehicle crash on Shamrock Road in Savannah this morning, Saturday, 7 Oct.
Just after 5am, police and other emergency services responded to a report of a collision in the vicinity of Matilda Drive, a police press release said.
Initial reports indicate the vehicle was travelling eastbound when it left the roadway and collided with a wall.
The sole occupant of the vehicle from Bodden Town was taken to the Cayman Islands Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The incident is being investigated by the Traffic and Roads Policing Unit and anyone with any information can call 649-6254.
