The Summer Pride Festival, a celebration of ‘unit and exclusivity’ for the LGBTQ+ community, is set for Friday, 20 Oct.

Zee Wright, owner of event organiser Express Yourself, hopes the festival will allow attendees to express themselves.

“It was a simple gathering at O Bar in 2019 and now has grown to pop-up parties, somewhere people can go and express themselves without being judged,” she said.

“I’m hoping that this will also promote unity, inclusivity and visibility for the LGBTQ+ community here in Cayman,” she said.

The festival, sponsored by Davenport, Z99, IslandFM and Retrograde, will feature a drag show, local performances, guest DJs and prizes.
