The government has released the dates for Cayman’s 11 public holidays for 2024.
They are:
Monday, 1 Jan. – New Year’s Day
Monday, 22 Jan. – National Heroes Day
Wednesday, 14 Feb. – Ash Wednesday
Friday, 29 March – Good Friday
Monday, 1 April – Easter Monday
Monday, 6 May – Emancipation Day
Monday, 17 June – King’s Birthday (unconfirmed)
Monday, 1 July – Constitution Day
Monday, 11 Nov. – Remembrance Day
Wednesday, 25 Dec. – Christmas Day
Thursday, 26 Dec. – Boxing Day
Cabinet recently approved the reinstatement of the Emancipation Day holiday, which will be commemorated on the first Monday in May. This will replace the Discovery Day public holiday from 2024.
The date of the King’s Birthday public holiday in the Cayman Islands has not yet been confirmed.
