Two scheduled disruptions to traffic and water service were announced on Wednesday by Water Authority – Cayman. Both are intended to facilitate infrastructure maintenance.
Siberia Avenue in Prospect will experience a disruption in water service and a road lane closure on Monday, 10 June. Water service will be interrupted from 9am until 1pm. A northbound lane of Siberia Avenue will also be closed from 8am to 1:30pm. Flaggers will be posted to direct traffic.
Another service interruption is also scheduled for Sunday, 9 June, in the Industrial Park area in George Town. That interruption will include a traffic diversion from 11am to 5pm from the northbound lane of Lincoln Drive to the southbound lane.
Water service will be interrupted on Seymour Road that day from 8am to 10am, and on Lincoln Drive and adjacent roads from 1pm to 3pm. Customers will be affected on Lincoln Drive, Sparkys Drive (north of the intersection with Lincoln Drive), Sleepy Hollow Drive, Blue Lagoon Drive, Allie B Drive, Hidden Lagoon Drive and Dianne Drive.
