Police were called to investigate after shots were fired in the parking lot of the Strand Entertainment Complex on West Bay Road early Saturday morning.
Officers responded to a reported altercation just before 2:50am on Saturday. It was reported that one man had been armed with a knife and another man had brandished a firearm and fired shots into the air.
No injuries were reported.
Officers attended the location and recovered a number of spent shell casings.

Robbery on North Side Road
In a separate incident, police officers responded to a report of a robbery at a business on North Side Road, just west of the intersection with Frank Sound Road at around 9:40pm on Friday evening.
It was reported that a masked man had entered the business, brandished a machete, and demanded cash from the workers. He then fled the location with a quantity of cash and other items, running in an easterly direction towards a nearby football field.
No one was injured during the incident.
The suspect is described as being over 6 feet tall, of slim build, and was wearing dark clothing, a black mask, and gloves.
The matter is currently under investigation by Bodden Town CID. Anyone with any information is asked to contact 947-2220.
