This month marks the 16th anniversary of the Cayman Cookout culinary experience, running from 15-19 Jan. at The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman.
Cayman Cookout brings together high-profile local and international chefs and presenters with food, wine and spirits enthusiasts from around the world for the celebration of culinary artistry.

“This year is particularly special, as it showcases not only culinary talents of renowned chefs and beverage experts but also the enchanting atmosphere of our island, making it an unforgettable experience for all attendees,” Marc Langevin, general manager of The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman, told the Cayman Compass.
Musical flavour
Following the award-winning band the Goo Goo Dolls’ performance last year, Langevin confirmed with the Compass another highly anticipated lineup of entertainment.
“This year’s live recording of podcast ‘Longer Tables’ with Chef José Andrés will feature two very special guests, famed Formula One driver George Russell, and fellow actor Jesse Tyler Ferguson,” Langevin said.
“Additionally, renowned jazz musician Nicole Henry will perform at our Farewell Jazz Lounge, providing a memorable conclusion to the event.”
Among the 2025 culinary lineup are Cayman Cookout’s signature events, including Wednesday’s welcome reception, Thursday’s Barefoot BBQ presented by Marriott Bonvoy Credit Cards by Chase, Friday’s Discover Cayman, Saturday’s After Glow Celebration by Moet & Chandon, Sunday’s Rum & Robusto, and Sunday’s Farewell Jazz Lounge.

Langevin added, “The week-long event has been enriched to highlight the natural beauty of the Cayman Islands and now includes an e-bike tour with resident sommelier Aldo Sohm, as well as a mangrove kayak adventure with our Ambassadors of the Environment programme. Of source, we will continue cherished traditions like the Beach Bash, always a favourite among our guests.”
