The 2025 instalment of Out of This World Music Fest is due to return Camana Bay’s Festival Green with vibrant energy and electrifying beats.
The much-anticipated event brings the best international superstars to Cayman’s shores. alongside the crème de la crème of local talent.
Fans will flock to the festival grounds on 31 May with gates opening at 4pm. Food and beverage vendors will be on site, as well as interactive sponsor booths adding extra entertainment.
Building on the immense success of previous years, the 2025 festival will feature Ludacris, Shenseea, Mical Teja and ThE iZ.
LUDACRIS
Needing no introduction, Ludacris is well known for both his musical success and movie appearances.
He began rapping at 9-years-old, and his debut studio album ‘Incognegro’ in 1999 featured the top 40 hit ‘What’s your fantasy’ featuring Shawnna. His album ‘Back for the first time’ in 2000 reached 3x platinum.
Subsequent albums ‘Word of Mouf’, ‘Chicken-n- Beer’ and ‘The Red Light District’ also enjoyed multi-platinum certifications. Film appearances include ‘2 Fast 2 Furious’, ‘Crash’, ‘Gamer’, ‘New Year’s Eve’, and ‘Hustle & Flow’.
Ludacris is the recipient of three Grammy Awards, a Screen Actors Guild Award, a Critics’ Choice Award and an MTV Video Music Award.
SHENSEEA
Jamaican dancehall singer Shenseea is best known for guest appearances alongside Roddy Ricch on Kanye West’s 2021 song ‘Pure Souls’.
She was nominated as a featured artist for Album of the Year at the 64th annual Grammy Awards. Her debut studio album ‘Alpha’ reached number two on the Top Reggae Albums chart in 2022, while her second album ‘Never gets late here’, released in 2024, was nominated for Best Reggae Album at the Grammy Awards. She has also earned two MOBO Awards.
MICAL TEJA
Mical Teja hails from Trinidad and Tobago, and is an award-winning singer, songwriter and music producer.
His release ‘Proud’ won him the Eyeslam Superstar title and a semi-final position in the International Soca Monarch. His release ‘DNA’ won Trinidad and Tobago’s 2024 Road March.
He also enjoyed massive success with ‘Runaway’ and ‘Energy’, released in 2025. He has collaborated with some of the Caribbean’s greatest artists including Patrice Roberts, Machel Montano, Kes, Nailah Blackman, and Destra Garcia.
THE IZ
ThE iZ is a ‘supergroup’ of music producers from Cayman who came together to produce top quality releases.
Established in 2009, the group is comprised of music and vocal producers/ songwriters Jason Gilbert, Lonney Love and Stephan Cotterell. The members live in Cayman, Miami and the U.K.
